Dragon 236

Every once in a while I find I piece I completely forgot about. We have been renovating our home library and had boxed up all of our books and magazines while the shelves were being built and installed.

As my sister-in-law Karen was going through the books (she is helping us organize the space) she had me go through the old issues. I remembered it after I saw it, but it is funny how it completely was off the radar. I do not even know where the original is.

I did the painting in early 1996. I cannot believe I put the priestess in flip flops. Maybe I was just a fashion forward thinker since now they are worn by everyone for every occasion.

But a priestess? Maybe...

Middle Earth: The Wizards Card art for Sale

Original painting from Middle Earth: The Wizards Collectable Card Game from ICE in the mid 90s based on JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. The card was a promo card, this is the original art for it! It was fun working on Tolkien stuff before the movies were even in the works! (Painted in 1995) and this is an authentic, licensed painting from the game.
